My journey in photography began at fourteen, inspired by my late father, who introduced me to the magic of capturing light. I was captivated by how a camera could freeze a fleeting moment — transforming light through a lens into an image on film, and finally into a print that came alive on paper.

Some of my fondest memories are of our makeshift darkroom — the family laundry — where soft red light filled the air and time seemed to stand still. My father and I would lose hours developing black-and-white photographs, often pushing past bedtime as we learned together the quiet patience of image-making.

Though my professional life has long centred around construction, photography has remained my creative constant. In recent years, I’ve found a renewed balance by returning to this lifelong passion — reconnecting with the same sense of wonder that first drew me to the camera.

My inspiration comes from exploring the natural world and uncovering the subtle lessons it offers. Whether it’s the play of shifting light or the changing form of a landscape, I’ve learned that meaningful images demand patience, awareness, and intent.

Through my work, I hope to reveal the hidden beauty that often goes unnoticed — inviting others to pause, to see beyond the familiar, and to rediscover the extraordinary moments that surround us every day.
